Benefits of Trusted Supplier status 

Trusted suppliers will benefit from an expedited process for some of the criteria. An applicant enjoying Trusted Supplier status will be exempt from providing certain documents during the submission process, but will need to have them available during the audit. 

For Trusted Providers: 

The evaluation process has been reduced to 3 weeks. COI forms do not need to be submitted at the time of application, but must be available at the event for possible observation. This applies to the members of the Organizational/Scientific-Organizational Committee and to the teachers; The application is submitted for review without waiting for payment. However, payment must be received before the procedure is finalised. 

Criteria to be met to obtain Trusted Supplier status 

1) Minimum of 10 applications per year in the last 2 years An applicant for Trusted Supplier status will be required to provide WMP ® with their application history. WMP ® will check the list of applicants against its own records. 2) Consistent recording of high-quality applications The application form has been filled in correctly The application is accurately completed and paid on time All supporting documents completed and submitted on time Positive final WMP ® decision on all applications received Materials for the event (brochure, website, application...) corresponding to WMP ® criteria 3) If changes were necessary in the applicant's applications They were done quickly (consecutive in less than a week) The changes fully addressed the concerns raised 4) The applicant has provided feedback on their applications to WMP ® The scientific program is distributed to the meeting participants in printed or electronic form Event feedback report provided for each accredited activity (within 4 weeks. In addition to these criteria, the applicant must answer the following questions: How can/can participants pre-register for an event? Demonstrate that for each activity a needs assessment process was completed, how this process was carried out and what relevant educational needs were identified by this process. Explain how actual conflicts of interest are resolved in the event of an actual conflict of interest of a member of the Organizing and/or Scientific Committee and/or of a speaker. Explain how attendance at each event session is monitored and how WMP® certificates are delivered to attendees. 

Granting Trusted Supplier status. 

When the Trusted Supplier status application is completed, it is submitted to the WMP® Board of Directors for a decision. Trusted Provider status is granted for a period of 2 years. 

In recognition of the high quality of LEEs organized by trusted suppliers, WMP® offers bronze (up to 10 applications per year), silver (more than 10 and up to 20 applications per year), gold (more than 20 and more than 30 applications per year) and platinum (more than 30 applications per year) Trusted Provider status. WMP® will feature Trusted Vendors and their status (Bronze, Silver, etc.) on a prominent page on their website, and Trusted Vendors may also feature their status on their own websites and LEE. 

If the Board's decision is negative, the Candidate may submit a written, motivated appeal to the General Secretary of WMP® within 2 weeks after receiving the Board's decision. The Secretary General may ask the Board to reconsider the application within 2 weeks or confirm the decision, in which case the decision becomes final. The decision taken by the Board after reconsideration of the application is final. If the WMP® decision on the status of a trusted supplier is negative, a renewed application can be submitted no earlier than 1 year. 

Loss of "trusted supplier" status

WMR® will monitor randomly selected activities hosted by a trusted provider. If the outcome of the activity monitoring is not satisfactory, the monitoring report will be submitted to the WMR® Board of Directors, who will consider withdrawing the Trusted Supplier status. The Board may request additional information and explanations from the provider in question. If the Board finds that the supplier is in violation of the WMR® rules, the supplier will lose Trusted Supplier status for a period of not less than 1 year.
